Appointments

For your convenience, we offer scheduled appointments for physicals, well baby and child care, acute and chronic medical problems and other non-emergencies. We schedule appointments between 8:00am and 5:00pm Monday, Thursday, and Friday. On Tuesday, we schedule appointments from 8:00am to 7:00pm. On Wednesday, we schedule appointments from 7:30am to 5:30pm. The receptionist is available to answer the phone on weekdays at 7:30 AM.

Patients with minor emergencies or more urgent needs will be seen without an appointment. However, if possible, it is best to call the office before coming if immediate attention is not necessary. While we suggest scheduling an appointment, walk-ins are welcome for urgent/emergent issues.

Our clinic uses the "open access" method of scheduling. This method allows us to keep large blocks of openings available each and every day. Our goal is to see every patient at a date and time that is convenient for them. By using this method, same day appointments are the rule, not the exception. For example, if a patient is due for a complete physical and finds that he or she has an unexpected day off, the physical could be performed that same day.

All of the providers will attempt to stay on schedule. We realize that your time is as valuable as ours. Unfortunately, patients often have complex medical problems that take more time than anticipated. In addition, emergencies which can cause us to be off schedule. We hope you will be understanding and apologize for any inconvenience.

Telephone Calls

For urgent problems or questions feel free to call the office at any time. Dr. Turke, one of the physician assistants or one of the nurses are available to answer your questions and to provide refills of medications as indicated.

Generally, Dr. Turke or one of the physician assistants will return your call after reviewing their messages. Depending upon the nature of the problem, they may take your call immediately.

If you have an urgent question or an emergency after hours, please call the after hours number (920)261-4210. Our Staff

Terry L. Turke Doctor of Medicine

I have been fortunate to practice in Watertown since completing my residency in Family Practice at the University of Wisconsin. I love going to work every day and it has been a privilege to care for so many patients over the years. Caring for several generations of many families has been a true blessing. It is my goal to continue to provide acute and chronic care to all of our patients and to help our patients navigate through the increasingly complex medical system as needed. I plan to continue to do all that I can to help our patients take advantage of all of the technological advances in medicine where it can be of benefit to their medical care but at the same time, provide personal, caring, one-on-one care. I am proud that Turke Family Medicine is the first clinic in Watertown to receive NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home level 3 Recognition. Outside of medicine, my interests include church, flying (I am a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner, and my wife, Jan, is a pilot as well), amateur radio (KC9-TLT), reading, exercise and especially spending time with family and friends.

Kristin E Erickson Physician Assistant Certified

Ever since childhood, I knew that I wanted to practice medicine. I completed that dream first by attending the University of Wisconsin-Madison, obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences, and then by completing my Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies from the University of Saint Francis in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 2007. I am honored to be joining Dr. Terry Turke in providing excellent and personalized medical care to the families of this practice. I strive to provide the highest level of medical care while ensuring that patients understand and are involved in their own health care and decisions. Outside of medicine, my interests include spending time with my fiancé and family, my two beloved dogs, reading, knitting, and hobby farming.
